What is a moving labor service?
A moving labor services provides experienced and professionals movers to load and unload your Penske, Budget or UHaul truck, UNITS of Cincinnati, PODS, or ABF U-Pack.
The rates of a moving labor service are much lower than moving companies while still retaining the professional quality of a full service mover. Many of the higher quality companies provide the same insurance as regular movers. By renting a truck or trailer and hiring our moving labor service many customers save hundreds of dollars on their move
In 2004 our company became the FIRST moving labor service in Cincinnati. Even though we were just getting started as a company, our movers had been working in the moving industry for years. Our years of experience and professionalism have made us the #1 rated moving labor in the tri-state. We are very proud to be rated the best by so many organizations and websites. We like to think it is because our quality, shown by providing uniformed, licensed and insured movers, make moving easy for you.
As a moving labor service, you provide the rental truck or storage space and we will show up to load and unload it for you. It doesn’t matter if it is a rental truck, storage space or a moving container, we have experience with them all.
Since we do not have to pay for the upkeep of a fleet of trucks this allows us to be much less expensive and much more flexible than a traditional moving service.
The rate for our Moving Labor Service is:
$35/per hour, per man (example 2 men is $70/hr)
There is a 2 hour minimum on all hourly services. After the first 2 hours, time is rounded to the next half hour. Our hourly rates start when our crew arrives at your home or business.
Equipment and Material Charges:
As a professional moving labor service we provide the equipment needed to do our job correctly. We will provide appliance dollies and other major equipment if given advance notice.
The customer is still responsible for providing moving pads/blankets, rope, boxes, tape and other consumable items.
