What Size Moving Labor Crew Do You Need?
Deciding on the size of your moving labor crew size is an important part of your move. It is important to choose the correct size crew for an efficient and affordable move. Our pricing is designed to offer the same cost whether you use 3 men for 2 hours or 2 men for 3 hours. Below is information which will help you decided what size crew will work best for you.
1-Mover
Keep in mind that our professional movers are accustomed to working with other experienced movers. A 1-man cannot complete a normal move on his own or without the help of other experienced movers. Because of the safety and liability concerns we do not offer a 1 man moving crew.
2-Movers
This is the most common crew size. 2 movers are a good choice for most jobs up to loading a 26′ truck or a 15×20 storage space. They are suitable for moving common household items, small to medium sized furniture and 1-2 flights of stairs.
3-Movers
3 Movers are a good choice if you have a larger than normal move (26′-40′), if there are large or heavy items (such as a piano or large armoir) or if you have more than 2 flights of stairs. If your time is limited consider a 3 man crew to get your move completed faster.
4-Movers
Our largest crew, a 4-Man Crew is the best choice when you have many large or heavy items, or 3-5 flights of stairs, or very large moves. A 4-Man Crew is also a good choice when you may have items loading/unloading to 2 different locations.
